About

Woodlands Gymnastics Academy (WGA) is a dedicated gymnastics gym serving the The Woodlands and Spring area, offering programs for children from 18 months old through competitive-level athletes. Its stated mission is to foster a love of gymnastics in a safe, supportive environment, building strength, confidence, and discipline while keeping classes fun.

Unlike a general kids' fitness center, WGA is built around gymnastics skill development on full apparatus — vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor — with a clear pathway from first classes to competition.

Programs for Every Age and Level

The youngest students start in the Kindergym program, which runs from 18 months to 5 years across three stages: Parent & Tot (18–24 months), Rising Stars (3–4 years), and Shining Stars (5 years). From there, recreational Girls Gymnastics classes develop skills on all four women's events, and a standalone Tumbling program builds floor skills — rolls, handsprings, and flips — that also benefit cheerleaders and dancers.

For gymnasts ready to compete, WGA is home to the WGA Texans girls competitive team, with many team members progressing up from the recreational program.

Beyond Weekly Classes

WGA also hosts gymnastics birthday parties, school-break camps, and "Friday Night Fun" drop-off evenings. New families can start with a free trial class, and enrollment and scheduling are handled online through the gym's parent portal.
