Woodlands Elite Cheer Co. – Oak Ridge North is the flagship location of Woodlands Elite Cheer Co., an all-star cheerleading and recreational tumbling gym serving the The Woodlands area. The gym focuses on both competitive and recreational athletes, with a family atmosphere and an emphasis on character alongside athletic skill.
Woodlands Elite has built a strong competitive record over the years — it is home to World Champion all-star teams, including the 2015 World Champion Generals — while keeping accessible, non-competitive options open for beginners and younger athletes.
Competitive and Recreational Paths
For competitive athletes, Woodlands Elite fields tryout-based All-Star teams (open to athletes starting at age 5), with All-Star tryouts each May and Half-Year team tryouts each October. For families who want a lower-commitment start, the gym offers year-round recreational tumbling and recreational cheerleading classes that teach jumps, motions, stunting, and tumbling fundamentals.
The youngest athletes begin in Tiny Tumblers and Tiny Exhibition Teams, which accept children starting at age 3. New families can take one free trial class, and a free 15-minute skills evaluation helps place each athlete in the right class.
Beyond Weekly Classes
In addition to classes and teams, Woodlands Elite offers private instruction — 30-minute one-on-one lessons Monday through Thursday between 3:30 and 8:30 PM — plus special events such as summer camps, tumbling clinics, and open gym sessions for extra practice.

Recreational Tumbling
Year-round recreational tumbling classes for all levels — building strength, technique, and skills from basics through advanced passes. A great complement for cheer, dance, or gymnastics.
